VACHERON CONSTANTIN — “One of Not Many”

Vacheron Constantin is one of Switzerland's oldest and most prestigious continuously operating watch manufacturers. Founded in 1755 in Geneva, the maison has built its reputation on exceptional craftsmanship, complicated mechanical movements, refined finishing, and a long tradition of haute horlogerie. It is widely regarded as one of the historic members of the Swiss “Holy Trinity” of high-end watchmaking alongside Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

From its earliest pocket watches to modern masterpieces, Vacheron Constantin has consistently combined technical innovation with artistic craftsmanship. The brand is particularly recognized for minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, tourbillons, skeletonized movements, and highly complicated watches. Its collections include Overseas, Patrimony, Traditionnelle, Fiftysix, Historiques, and Égérie.

Founder – Jean-Marc Vacheron

Jean-Marc Vacheron established his own watchmaking workshop in Geneva in 1755, marking the beginning of what would become Vacheron Constantin. His commitment to precision and craftsmanship established the foundations of the maison's identity.

The company later expanded under subsequent generations of the Vacheron family. In 1819, François Constantin joined the company, forming the name Vacheron & Constantin. Constantin's famous philosophy of pursuing excellence helped shape the company's international ambitions.

Current CEO – Laurent Perves

Laurent Perves is the current Chief Executive Officer of Vacheron Constantin, having taken the position in 2025. He succeeded Louis Ferla, who moved to become CEO of Cartier.

Perves joined Vacheron Constantin in 2016 and previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. His leadership combines extensive luxury-industry experience with deep knowledge of the maison, positioning the brand for continued international growth while maintaining its commitment to traditional haute horlogerie.
