GENEVA — Swiss luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has expanded its iconic Historiques collection with the new Historiques American 1921, reference 1100S/000R-H115, bringing a distinctive 1920s design into a contemporary 36.5 mm pink-gold timepiece.

The watch pays tribute to an original model created for the American market during the Roaring Twenties. Its most recognizable feature is its unusual diagonal dial, designed so that the time can be read naturally without turning the wrist. The crown is positioned at an unconventional 1:30, further emphasizing the watch's avant-garde character.

The new version features an 18K 5N pink-gold case measuring 36.5 x 36.5 mm and just 7.41 mm thick. Its grained silver-toned dial is complemented by blue Arabic numerals, blue indexes and blued open-tipped hands, while a small-seconds display sits at 3 o'clock. The watch is paired with a dark blue calfskin leather strap and an 18K pink-gold pin buckle.

Powering the timepiece is Vacheron Constantin's Calibre 4400 AS, a manually wound movement developed and manufactured by the Maison. Measuring 2.8 mm thick, the movement contains 127 components and 21 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and delivers approximately 65 hours of power reserve. The transparent sapphire-crystal caseback provides a view of the movement's finishing.

The watch also carries the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva, a certification associated with Geneva's high standards of watchmaking craftsmanship and reliability. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres.
