Swiss dive-watch brand Squale has introduced the Galeazzi Artiglio, a limited-edition timepiece developed in collaboration with DRASS Galeazzi. Announced on September 15, 2026, the watch marks 100 years since Roberto Galeazzi’s pioneering patent for a spherical diving structure and represents the second chapter of the partnership between the two companies.
Limited to 500 numbered pieces, the Galeazzi Artiglio draws on the history of professional diving equipment while incorporating features intended for contemporary underwater use. At the centre of its design is the revival of Squale’s historic Wet Indicator technology, a distinctive feature that connects the watch to the brand’s technical diving heritage.
The watch features a 39.5mm stainless-steel case and a deep-blue dial paired with a matching blue bezel. Its design includes applied domed hour markers and luminous details intended to improve legibility underwater. A Wet Indicator is positioned at six o’clock, reinforcing the model’s functional character and historical inspiration.
One of the most distinctive visual details is the DRASS Galeazzi logo printed on the sapphire crystal. Positioned above the dial, the logo creates a floating visual effect and highlights the collaboration behind the limited edition. The watch also features a unidirectional bezel with a blue K1 glass insert and a screw-down crown.
Built for serious underwater use, the Galeazzi Artiglio offers water resistance to 600 metres, or 60 ATM. Its construction includes a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, while the case design combines robust dimensions with a layout inspired by professional diving instruments.
Powering the watch is the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, configured without a date display. The Elaboré-grade calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The decision to omit the date keeps the dial focused on essential timekeeping information.
The watch is supplied with two straps: a sand-coloured microfibre strap and a blue rubber strap. The combination offers different wearing options while maintaining the model’s connection to diving equipment and its blue-toned design.
The Galeazzi Artiglio continues Squale’s collaboration with DRASS Galeazzi, linking contemporary watchmaking with the history of underwater engineering. The limited edition follows the earlier Galeazzi project and brings the historical Wet Indicator feature back into focus for a new generation of dive-watch enthusiasts.
With its 600-metre water resistance, compact 39.5mm case, automatic movement and 500-piece production run, the Galeazzi Artiglio combines technical specifications with a clearly defined historical story. It is a release aimed at collectors who appreciate professional dive watches and the engineering heritage behind them.
