MIDO has expanded its Multifort collection with the Multifort 8 One Crown, a streamlined evolution of the Multifort 8 Two Crowns introduced in 2025. The new model retains the collection's distinctive geometric character while removing the second crown for a cleaner and more versatile design.
At the centre of the design is a 40mm stainless-steel case combining satin-brushed and polished surfaces. Its most recognizable feature is the eight-sided bezel, which gives the watch a strong contemporary identity. The crown and caseback echo the same eight-faceted geometry, reinforcing MIDO's TECHNOMETRY design philosophy.
Unlike the Two Crowns model, the One Crown does not have a rotating internal bezel. The simplified architecture gives the watch a cleaner appearance while maintaining the sporty character of the Multifort 8 family.
The dial continues MIDO's established Multifort aesthetic, featuring horizontal grooves that create depth and texture. Depending on the version, the watch is available with black, blue and other contemporary dial treatments. Super-LumiNova® on the hands and hour markers provides clear readability in low-light conditions, while a date window sits discreetly at 3 o'clock.
Powering the watch is MIDO's Caliber 80 automatic movement, offering up to 80 hours of power reserve. The movement incorporates a Nivachron™ balance spring, designed to improve resistance to magnetic fields and everyday shocks. Through the transparent caseback, the decorated oscillating weight with Côtes de Genève finishing and MIDO branding can be admired.
The Multifort 8 One Crown measures 38.4mm in case length and 40mm in width, with a thickness of approximately 9.9mm. It is water-resistant to 100 metres / 10 bar and protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
MIDO offers the collection in several configurations, including integrated-style steel and rubber options as well as versions featuring rose-gold PVD details. Listed European prices vary by configuration, from approximately €950 for the rubber version to €1,050 for the steel and rose-gold PVD version.
The result is a modern sports watch that combines angular geometry, everyday practicality and an extended 80-hour power reserve, while keeping the distinctive Multifort identity intact.
