The BYOP Meridian Ti GMT is making a strong impression on the wrist, with its lightweight titanium construction and aviation-inspired design proving particularly comfortable during its first outing.

Designed by BYOP Watches (Be Your Own Pilot), the Meridian Ti GMT is built around a 39mm bead-blasted T2 titanium case, measuring 12.5mm thick with a 46.5mm lug-to-lug length. The use of titanium gives the watch a notably lightweight feel while retaining the rugged character associated with pilot-style timepieces.

The watch features a highly legible aviation-style black dial, with large luminous markers and a 24-hour inner GMT scale. The standout yellow GMT hand adds a bright accent while providing a second-time-zone indication. Swiss Super-LumiNova is applied to the hands, numerals and indices for visibility in low-light conditions.

Powering the Meridian Ti GMT is the Seiko NH34 automatic GMT movement, which includes hacking functionality and a date display positioned at approximately 4:30. The movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback.

A sapphire crystal with blue anti-reflective treatment protects the dial, while the watch is rated to 100 metres / 10 ATM of water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear beyond the cockpit-inspired styling. The watch is paired with a soft, hand-stitched genuine leather strap and branded buckle.

The personal experience captured in the accompanying wrist shot highlights one of the watch's key strengths: comfort. On its maiden voyage, the Meridian Ti GMT reportedly feels exceptionally light and easy to wear, demonstrating one of the practical advantages of its titanium construction.

With only 100 pieces produced across the Meridian Titanium GMT collection and a choice of yellow, orange or red GMT hands, the model also carries an element of exclusivity.
